NAWIC Block Kids Held on Saturday, January 28th

The Space Coast National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Chapter held their Block Kids Building Competition at Hans Christian Andersen in Rockledge on Saturday, January 28th.

Ed Kinberg judged for the competition along with other members of the construction industry. Widerman Malek sponsored the breakfast for the judges and provided a great breakfast that was appreciated by all.

Harrison Thalwitzer was the 1st place winner for his grade level and also the overall contest winner! Congratulations Harrison! His project will be entered into the National Block Kids Contest.

Keyton Garber won 2nd place in the Kindergarten competition. The fun projects coupled with the plastic hard-hats encouraged the children’s imagination and an enjoyable time was had by all.
